This bakery is my O.G. favorite. Why? Because of their paj and absolutely mouth-watering kardemummabullar.

What to order: any kind of bulle with a paj (similar to a quiche) or a shrimp salad. Drip coffee is included in lunch!

I’ve been to all but Kvarnholmen, but Södermalm’s is by far my favorite. It’s not ever too crowded (this can be an issue at Gamla Enskede), there is lots of natural light, and the atmosphere is always calming. I find visiting the one in Gamla Enskede to be on the stressful side— there are always 1 million families crammed into the bakery and the tables are placed elbow-width apart.
